^africa is the business on that album, but some of the album loses focus. r. kelly was on top of his game with the r album and did what d’angelo did on his first album: make rnb that niggas could love. no beggin, no brown nosin. but once d’angelo did the naked video he lost what made him great imo.

Jaz said in an interview that on Reasonable Doubt Jay wanted Nas and Big on the album so he could capture their fan base. No Nas, but he ended up sampling his voice.
