Audio: Cormega Interview w/ Street Disciplez Radio
Mega calls into Street Disciplez Radio and speaks on Born And Raised, the fall of Queensbridge, Nas, the MTV Hottest MCs list and the people who made it. Here he comments on Drake:
“I can’t fuck with Drake. I like Drake as a young man trying to make money but I can’t take him serious because for one he’s rich…I don’t like when these spoiled rich kids just get into rap cause it’s something they could do…and they start rappin about a life they never lived. Niggas like us rap about shit because we lived it these niggas use rap as a hobby.”

^this is fact, but in order to achieve you first have to unlearn everything you’ve been taught. Instead of being in looking out, you have to be out looking in. This doesnt happening easily and most times is brought on by some traumatic event, that forced you to question life.

^fact is eskay, everyone rapper is relying on reuniting with their onetime crew… Niggas realize they can’t sell units dolo, and dont want to burn that bridge. From Dipset, to QB niggas, to what 50 is doing the writings on the wall. Pay attention.

Was Mega selling units to begin with? When was the last time Mega was on a major? This does not sound too intelligent
October 19th, 2009 at 12:55 pm
Mega prAli got a daughter that plays Driz all fucking day.
October 19th, 2009 at 12:56 pm
After Cam fails to reach solo status again, its a matter of time, before they’ll announce a reunion Dipset album… And how many niggas wouldnt check for an album with Nas, Cormega, Nature, sheeeit Foxy for that matter. What SlaughterHouse did, eventhough they were unable to push units, is just the begining of whats to come. Look how many groups (once solo artist) are coming out the woodworks.

Mega one of the most successful indie rappers though…He was making money indie before everyone else jumped on that wagon…I dont think he needs Nas for anything tbh

^Alchemist been around for a long minute…plus, paid dues, etc….completely different situation from what Mega is saying. Smarten up.

^ nah, you reading it backwards… Niggas is in the ninth innin duke, 30+ with families… Anything to lengthen that bread, that means getting past ego’s and corny beefs. The move will benefit all, its a win win, once you do the math and take the emotion out the equation. Like my nigga juvi said. Its niggas across the Globe that do business on the daily, the dont have to Love eachother, it just makes good business sense.

^ don’t be fooled mon frere, niggas would have you believe they doing good and all that, but who would turn down the chance to bank roll more. WHO?
October 19th, 2009 at 1:12 pm
I know Mega personally, trust me he doesn’t need for nothin. Asisde from his crib, cars jewelry etc. he’s brought houses for QB residents, cars for friends, took the whole Bridge to Great Adventures before 50 did it, funded the girls basketball tournament for the girls basketball team in QB, brought lap tops for fans yes fans. His success isn’t measured by what he himself has but what he’s done for others.

Mega gotta helluva ear for beats!! The production on Born & Raised is crazy, and lyrically nice, but God Damn Mega has the worst flow ever!!! And he not even seeing Prodigy from the 95-99/00 circa, let alone a Nas!
October 19th, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Yo, don’t this dude STAY working with Alchemist?! Ain’t Alchemist a white dude straight from Beverly Hills?! Ha! Your argument officially holds no weight!
October 19th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
He doesn’t even know about Drake’s background though. His dad was rich?
October 19th, 2009 at 7:35 pm
