Working on their collaboration “On My Own” from the upcoming Maja 7th & Fake Shore Drive album, The Breakout.
Freddie was in town recently, so we paired him up with Mikkey Halsted at Soundscape Studios, to record the Maja 7th-produced “On My Own”. Here you can see two of hip-hop’s brightest rising stars in the studio crafting the joint. A lot of people fell through that night to hear what was going on – and the track is definitely something special.
The Breakout features all new joints from Freddie Gibbs, Mikkey Halsted, GLC, Pill, YP, Mic Terror, Phil G, Mick Luter and more. Details to come.

Two, I really don’t think they’re similar stylistically. Ross is a son of BIG’s persona, but his style is more alliterations and entendres. Biggie was punchlines and detailed narratives.

Word. I thought I had it too, after I got burned the nurse at the clinic kept pounding in my head you catch after getting an std. Man it was the worst I looked online at symptoms diahhrea purple dots on tongue, not eating, being tired “magically” I start noticing these symptoms too, I became super depressed, but was still going in on chicks just making sure I strapped up. After like 1 1/2 half enough was enough and I wanted to go raw with my current chick, so I went got tested, found out It was nothing all along. Biggest weight was lifted off my shoulders. ^yeah, that’s a life long friend, but we lost contact around the age 15, I hooked back up with him in 07′ and we just hit the studio hard, dude hook game is crazy, shit surprises me how he just comes up with the hooks off the dome, his solo’s on the mixtape is tight too, but I don’t feel they fit the direction of the mixtape, speaking of the mixtape, I was gonna personally give a review of “murder city” but it might make the few nahggers that never heard it not wanna give it a spin, it has nothing to do with the songs, lyrics, or quality, I just think it wasn’t properly excecuted, but i’ll save that for another day
