Video: Behind The Scenes of Parallel Uni-Verses w/ Del & Tame One
At this point, Del The Funky Homosapien & Tame One have little to prove to anyone. Both legends in their own right, the two super emcees are striving mostly for their own creative satisfaction. In this clip, they speak on their inspiration, their subject matter, and how their collaboration came about. The album Parallel Uni-Verses is out this week on Gold Dust.

Eminem is one of the most technically sound rappers to achieve the level of mainstream success he’s garnered…When it comes to flow, cadence, mic presence and polysyllabic rhyme scheme, he’s largely unmatched…my gripe with homie is that he comes off as a clown and I can’t relate to his subject matter in any shape, form, or fashion…Lose Yourself is one of the best rap songs ever, though, IMO

Yep.

Tame 1 is such a gay name for a hiphop artist of any kind …

Anyway, like I was saying:
Nelly sold more records than 50, the applebottom thing is probably bigger than G-Unit clothing was for the simple fact that girls go clothes shopping every week, and unless you’re fake ass Sean Coonery copping Louis V spandex (c) Plug, guys don’t cop like that–especially G-Unit gear…
He owns part of the Bobcats, and while Nelly lost his touch, he didn’t have nearly the embarrassing fall-off Curtis had. Plus, I bet at this point, the St Lunatics get more respect than G-Unit does.
Plus, Nelly has never made any bones (nh) about being a pop act making pop music. Curtis came in talking all that anti-Ja stuff and then bit his whole steez. Nelly came in with his own style from jump, and on top of that, on the low, he had some bars.
Plus Plus, Nelly had just one dude (a white guy, if I remember correctly) doing beats for the most part (I know Hot In Herre was the inept-tunes), but 50 needed cosignatures from EMINEM and DR. DRE at the HEIGHT of their reign to do the same numbers Cornell did on his own 2 and 3 years earlier.
So: Cornell Haynes > Curtis Jackson.
(nh again)

Eminem can write/craft ill rhymes… he just doesnt sound impressive at all saying them, mainly because of his weak nerdish voice and annoyingly european delivery …
maybe Marshall should ghostwrite for black people …

Clearly an act. She has full control over her persona. She knows that female rappers have to be carictures to get their foot in the door.
I wouldnt be surprised if she grew up in CT and went to boarding school (like that one female rapper from back in the day whose name I can’t remember…)

@ D_Block– Not at all.. Dude’s made good music tho’ and I happen to like a bunch of it, but you’d know if I was a stan (see: Rey vs KanYe, Rey vs Joe Budden–nh).. I’d defend myself, but I don’t really care. *daps the shiny eyebrow mang*
