I said this last night, it’s MTV’s “hottest” rappers list so normally it wouldn’t concern me, but I have 2 main issues and they both involve the “fan voting as counting” they obviously pushed the closing of the poll back because Budden was way ahead at #1 when it was supposed to close, and Em was the #1 at the end and neither ended up on the list, Buden ended up 4th, but still doesn’t make the list, but rappers who didn’t even get 1% of the vote made it? Don’t try and tell us the fans vote count cause they obviously don’t. Plus they said one of the reasons 50 made the list was cause he pioneered the online movement with thisis50.com, but sorry joebuddentv started before thisis50 so that holds no weight, once they had Fab on there I knew there was no way Budden was making it, like really Fab? and I mean some of the people haven’t even released an album in a minute and like it or not and its definitely not all positive even mostly negative, but you can’t deny that Budden is one of the most talked about rappers right now for whatever the reason good or bad, everyone has something to say about him so the shit doesn’t add up, but its MTV so I’m not surprised I just think its bullshit how they tried to say the fan vote mattered when clearly it mattered zero
