Yeah…I think the hip hop messegeboard/blog/internet scene has curupted the MTV Braintrust…even Raekwon himself knows he’s not one of the top 10 “hottest” rappers currently in the game…the hip hop’s blogosphere collective circle jerk of OB4CL2 along with the internet fueled fuckery surrounding them slapping up Buddens like a little bitch has gassed the 1515 committe into thinking the hip hop populace gives a flying fuck about Raekwon or OB4CL2…and while the crowd of 30 plus year old wiggers that make up the vast majority of Rae’s (and the Wu in general) post-2000 fanbase did a good job of helping the album reach a respectable (in today’s standard) 60K first…it’s absolutely silly to think that shit is the “hottest album out in the streets”…random Gucci Mane or Yo Gotti mixtapes are getting more love than OB4CL2…
