    For real, but you know what this reminds me of? It reminds me of how tough everyone was on Eminem, how dude was in the spotlight.. I think a lot of people in the media and even here in hater-ass blog land genuinely wanna see KanYe step up and be THAT dude.

    Like, he keeps drawing people in with great music and he’s obviously connecting with fans on an emotional level, but he then shits on ‘em with this diva stuff–and I’m officially recognized as KanYe’s biggest Stan on the interwebs, but even I hear a verse now and I’m like, “Right, but when are you gonna move on?”

    It’s not enough for people to see someone that they can relate to, at some point he needs to make The Leap to become someone that people can go, “He did it, so I can do it”.. I like that KanYe treats every project like he’s gotta prove himself because it leads to incredible music, but he’s gotta realize that nobody’s really doubting him like that anymore, and scanning 1.5m of moody-ass “808′s & Heartbreak” should have made it clear.

    In short (long? fuck it), ‘Ye needs to realize that people are waiting for him to become transcendent. I don’t want him to ever “Yessa Massa!” or kiss babies (no lil’ wayne), but he’s gotta realize that he’s a Leader and an inspiration to a lot of people that, in this day and age where not a lot of people are willing to be that.

    Anyway, no homo and all that.
