Dungeon Family > Wu-tang
The reason I give the nod to the Dungeon Fam is because it was an original idea. Creatively both camps all had different talents and strengths but the whole idea of Wu-tang was designed by some slant eyed folks. If them Shaolin movies were never made, who would Wu-tang be??? The whole meaning of the Dungeon family was constructed around the environment they made the music in. Goodie Mob invented the term ‘Dirty South’. They were visionary innovators while the Wu were duplicating Chinese scripts. Finally, look at RELEVANCY. Method, Raekwon, Ghostface barely stay relevant while Gold album sales is improbable for them now. A new Outkast record is guaranteed Platinum. The Wu did have 1 advantage over the Dungeon: the unpredictability of Old Dirty.
