   word, projects like the Lost Tapes really confirms that one of Nas’ greatest weaknesses is his ear…How can you make all those heatrocks and then not include them on an official release? Those joints would’ve pushed I Am to classic status IMO

    ^Bootlegging fucked that whole album up, same goes with mobb deep (even tho murda music is a classic imo) that’s why it took so long for nas to drop I am, and I think that’s the reason why he tried to come back with another album so fast in the same year, unless he belived in the y2k scare also, and knowing nas, he prolly did, lol

    In all fairness, that was due to sample clearances and the heavy bootlegging, not Nas’ infamous tin ear.
