We were working with an artist named Freck Billionaire. When he came aboard we asked if he had any contracts and he said no. Come to find out he was signed with somebody. The guy was trying to sue us and Freck stole one of our watches and left. So we’ve been looking for Freck Billionaire but he’s been ducking and dodging us. He stole a diamond watch and left.

I just fell in love watching an interview
September 17th, 2009 at 8:26 am
I just got finished listening to It was Written after the convo lastnight. I can see why some say IWW is > Illmatic. That album is flawless. But I give Illmatic the vote for the simple fact, its impact on the culture is for the history books. A corner was turned in hip hop when illmatic droppe… straight up.

@ Digi
it wasnt even racial until the whites and hispanics started twittering racist shit. it shows the sad state of affairs in the US – no once gives a fuck that your President is black because a white man is allowed to shout him down and not an eyelid is bat.
but a semi-talented white girl is interrupted at a stupid VMA award show by a black artist (irrelevant of his accomplishments and talent), suddenly hes evil and white people “see the devil” in him.
shit makes me so mad.

@Rey
I’m a big fan of jay-z older flow, vol.1, RD, it was way more unpredictable that his newer flow, it wasn’t his best, but he dropped the most Gems around the RD, Vol.1 days then he ever did (this is fact). His flow was perfect around BP, but listening to songs like “black gangster” “can’t knock the hustle remix” “wishing on a star” etc, i’m just more of his flow then that flow he uses now

I can see this point in relation to RD and Vol 1, but vol 2 and 3 was when he perfected the slow flow, and dynasty was the link between the slow flow and the blueprint delivery, which means it was also crack.

@ Rey,
I actually think Land has a point though. How can you make comments about something that you don’t have much knowledge on? I mean you didn’t hear OB4CL until about 10 years after it dropped and that’s because we keep employing to hear it. I could never comment about ICP or The Chili Peppers cause I don’t listen to them (though that Scar Tissue is fire)…
