Here’s a message from Phonte, one half of The Foreign Exchange, explaining what happened with the iTunes release of Nicolay’s album.

As some of you know, Nicolay’s “City Lights 2: Shibuya” album dropped digitally today. However, me and Nic ran into a big stumbling block with iTunes and I made a little video explaining it to our fans. Please blog, tweet, and retweet away. As always, thanks for the support!

Basically, instead of having to buy each track individually on iTunes (which also takes away from their soundscan,) you can simply purchase it on Amazon, eMusic, or Rhapsody. The physical copy drops next week. Definitely support these two.

First Foreign Exchange was ill, couldn’t get into the second one. Never really heard much regarding that 80s cover album either, the Only Human joint was pretty crackish.

^^^ so you’re saying you think phonte might come off as a douche in the video above based on the screen shot before you see it? SMH. if so, i’d have to say that judging a video by a screen shot is douchbaggery at it’s finest.
