Brand doesn’t mean much, mostly materials and fit.
Brooks Brother’s is a good place to start for a first timer.

The thing is that I don’t need to dress for work so I don’t really need a bunch of suits I just want them. I think I would cop a lot of shirts & sweaters from there though.
