Special shout to NMC extended fam Miss Info… here’s some quotes courtesy of MTV’s Jayson Rodriguez:

“My favorite line on the song, though, is when Wayne says, ‘Life is such a roller coaster and then it drops/ but what should I scream for, this is my theme park.’ That right there, word-play-wise, that’s my favorite. But everybody does their thing. Kanye does Kanye. Eminem raps in a way where nobody might have heard him rap in a long time and says some things that are great for his fans to hear. I’m just proud to even be on the record. People are telling me they like my verse. I’m just happy I held my own.”

So that record [potentially with Andre 3000 and Sade] is something important to me. Obviously [I'm gonna work with] Wayne. I’m out here really trying to get something special with Justin. Hovito [Jay-Z], we might need to get him. The track on this album was a real catchy joint. But people wanna hear us rap together. That’s one of my goals, to have that track with me and Jay. Maybe don’t even have a hook, maybe. Have just like you haven’t heard him in a minute, just going bars for bars. That might be something you’ll hear on the album.”

Here’s the second single from DJ RTC/RubyHornet/Soundscape Studio’s Closed Session project:

We gave you guys a visual taste of the second leak from our Closed Session project earlier in the week. For the follow up to “Rapper Weed” featuring Curren$y we tapped Philly’s Truck North, who picked another Tony Baines beat for “Dutch Dalton”. About half way through the Closed Session, he hit up Big Pooh who was also in town. Pooh came through SoundScape and jumped on track and “Dutch Dalton” (a nod to baseball’s Keith Richards) was born. You can download the track below, and look for future tracks featuring Amanda Diva, Kidz In The Hall, Chip Tha Ripper, and others coming soon. [via RubyHornet]
