David Guetta feat. Kid Cudi – Memories

kid-cudi

French DJ David Guetta is on somewhat of a hot streak right now. He produced the disgustingly successful barmitzvah anthem “I Gotta Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas, which you can’t turn on the radio without hearing these days. As well as the remix to Akon’s “Sexy Bitch,” which is as tough as an Akon club song can be. He also recently did some work for Kelly Rowland amongst a slew of other hip hop/R&B artists.

B.o.B – Should Have Been the First Album (Mixtape)

20090820-bob1a

Ha! I love it. Shake threw together this mix of No DJ Bobby Ray joints as sort of middle finger to the suits at Atlantic. Word on these e-streets is that they’re trying to force the homie B.o.B. into a 360 deal against his will. While I’m not categorically against 360, or multiple rights deals, I feel like they should be presented as an option to an emerging artist, not as the only option. And they certainly shouldn’t be used as a blackmail tool. I doubt they’d try to pull that shit with a TI or a Jay-Z. Sure, B.o.B. still has some showing and proving to do, but is a fair deal too much to ask? Just put out that man’s album and let the chips fall where they may.

Video: Cam’ron Ain’t Going To No Concert In Queens

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

There was a rumor floating around yesterday that Cam would show up to Booboo’s on again/off again concert in Queens, but Killa is smarter than that. He admits that he’s heard that Curtis is trying to reach out, but he won’t fall for it. He knows that the same fuckshit he pulled with Jim Jones, J-Hood and whoever else he plays nice with. Wait until that BISD is about to drop (remember?) and he’ll be back at it. Mama ain’t raise no fool…

Video: What’s a Sha Stimuli

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

Here’s the commercial for Sha Stimuli’s debut album, My Soul To Keep, being released on Chamber Musik x E1 Entertainment. Pretty fucking dope visuals as Sha Stimuli acknowledges the fact that a lot of people don’t know his story or who he is. Check it out. Spotted at Shake’s Shack.

How shamelessly does he use that mic and video camera to walk up to beautiful women. Applaud that man. Also, *dead* at the Roth boys coming out to “Thank God For That White.”

Video: Jay-Z feat. Rihanna & Kanye West – Run This Town

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

MTV Germany already aired the video, so fuck waiting until tomorrow to watch it.

Having a world premiere now has become just that… forget being first with anything in this day and age. This sort of reminds me of the good old days before everything was an exclusive and every video had a watermark – when people actually did shit to be a part of something.

Look out for Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 in stores on September 11th.
