Video: Ron Browz – Tell It All

Friday, August 21st, 2009

I don’t really wanna encourage this guy rapping, but this is kinda interesting because he breaks down what happened between him and Jim after the Capo Deebo’d “Pop Champagne” from him and the ensuing label fuckery.

Video: Drake Interview w/ MTV News (Pts. 2-4)

Friday, August 21st, 2009

So, ever since MTV lifted their privacy setting I never really got the chance to watch any of these. In the above clip he talks about how his type of rapping about women is more based on honesty than the other kinds of rapping about girl shit (what’s a Bow Wow?).

Below you’ll find two videos, in the first he describes how his verse from the Throw It In The Bag remix came about, and how he couldn’t write about tricking on girls because he finds that he’s being used. And under that is a video where he gets more into detail about seeing older women, and how he almost felt guilty that he was more interested in telling the story about it afterwards, which is essentially what he’s doing.

Video: DJ Jazzy Jeff DJ Hero Promo

Friday, August 21st, 2009

Jeff talks about what an honor it is for him to be included as a character in the new DJ Hero video game.

“To be a character that someone will be able to pick up the controller and select you and play, is probably the biggest thing that has ever happened to me in my career…”

Really Jeff? Bigger than winning the first ever Rap Grammy?

Eminem’s Relapse 2: Dropping November 17th?

Friday, August 21st, 2009

relapse-2

Amazon UK listed Relapse 2 as dropping on November 16th, which is a Monday, so it doesn’t make it completely impossible that it would drop here on November 17th. I don’t know if the UK always gets albums before the US, but logically you’d think they’d service it to the US first then send it over to the UK. Either way, it’s not the release date that even matters anymore… it’s the leak date.

Props to YourAudioFix for that interesting image you see up there.
