Cats eating MickeyD’s every day for lunch acting like they on a quail & caviar diet.
Fake niggas.

^I kind of disagree with this. I totally agree with having speaking events and sponsoships and shit like that. But having concerts for the hood can do some good. For instance, in my hood last summer they had a car show out there. That shit was beautiful. Not for the cars or the bad ass bitces that were out, but the fact that the hood could come together and enjoy an event peacefully. That shit can help mend fences.
^^Has the crime rate decreased since that show? How about the quality of life? Have the sanitation dept been picking up the garbage on time? Standardized school scores? Those concerts/events have little to no positive effect at all to the hood.

That shit can help mend fences.
^ OR spark gun fire.
^Most definitely. I think the best thing that can be done for the hoods is to have funding for after-school programs back. When kids don’t have shit to do from 3 to 8 pm, all they’re gonna do is be on the street or doing stupid shit to get in trouble. Basketball programs, computer programs, tutoring, mentoring, homework help, trade, something, anything. Thats what would best help the kids in the hoods

That’s the problem Jay runs, if he puts out an American Gangster, everyone says Hov shouldn’t be talking G shit at his age and tax bracket, if he drops a Kingdom Come, everyone bashes him left and right for rapping about shit the common man wouldn’t understand…..on this album, it seems like he tried to split the difference between the two, on first listen, its enjoyable, but only time will tell where it falls in the Jay pantheon

This reminds me of BP3, just for the fact that Jay feels he has to remind cats how dope he is.
Only cats who fell off have to remind the listener of what they used to do. If you’re still doing it like that, the music should speak for itself.

If I had money, i would just help fund after school programs. Just that would help tremendously. I used to work for the city for the department that handled the contracts for city funding for shit like that. It was a real simple operation. Just show that the money that you’re getting is being used to benefit the children. Yes, some people have to get paid for it and the schools have to get money in order to house the activities and shit, but i’ve seen $30k go a long way to help a lot of children.
