Viedo: UCB feat. Wale - Pat Your Weave (Behind The Scenes)
Last weekend Three/21 shot the “Pat Your Weave” music video for UCB feat. Wale in the DMV. The weaves were in full effect as we shot some fun party scenes and live band performance shots inside of the gorgeous Destiny Deve Salon. Shoutout to the extras who did their thing, Tre and Wale for putting this together and the staff at Destiny Deve for holding us down. BTS pics are courtesy of Diana Levine whose amazing photography you can checkout here. Video coming soon and congrats to UCB for landing the in-house band gig at this years MTV VMA’s.
Head to Rik’s for some dope photos from the shoot.

My thing is if you an old head (80’s baby) i would think you would try to atleast show a lil support for a hov. product, i meand who else do we have from that time that still drops albums every year and that young people or even the mass media care about…I means some dudes who are over 25 sh!t on hov harder than the young cats…But i understand some people cant stand that dude always seem to win so the just want to see a fail every now and than, usually they are the same dudes that hated on the bulls or the patriots or the yankees or who ever else is the fav.
…… I hate on new hov because of my respect for him, if it was anyone else releasing these new songs I wouldn’t listen, but because its Hov I listen off GP, and everytime I listen I get pissed at having just listened to it, no one else could make me continually give them another shot, but just on the off chance he could make some classic hov I have to give it a fair listen, but he stays disappointing ….

I was a Dilla stan when I connected the dots on him doin’ Pharcyde’s Drop, Runnin, etc etc, Tribe’s 1nce Again and all that Love Movement shit (yea yeah I fucked with that album heavy) , De La’s shit, Common’s Nag Champa etc etc.
I bought Welcome to Detroit, Ruff Draft, Fuck the Police 12” all on vinyl as soon as they were released so I could never have jumped on the bandwagon after his death.

Kanye West has no where NEAR the drum programming ability that Dilla had… Dilla chops his samples up so miniscule, sometimes you cant tell what the fuck he even sampled or if it was even a sample … on a sample, he could make words out of singers exhaled breaths … (c) ‘History’ - Mos Def

….. thats what I’m saying Premo is one of the GOAT’s no doubt, but as soon as one of his songs comes on you know its him, not so with Dilla, half these people hating on Dilla probably have some of his shit as their favorite classics they just don’t know Dilla did the beat ….

you can’t really pit preem against dilla. they’re both architects but from different generations. by the time they overlapped dilla was young working w/folks that preem did none to lil work with.

Joe88 said he cleans his house to it … he was trying to praise it .. but when i hear good hiphop, the last thing i wanna do is chores and housework … WTF?… if anything when i hear good hiphop, i wanna tear shit up or leave joint/blunt ashes everywhere … word
^Actually the cleans my house up to it was a budden line he said about the blueprint, I thought ty would’ve caught that.
But yeah, I could do some spring cleaning to that album cause I know I wouldn’t have to skip any tracks, play it in one room really loud and go to the living room and get the cleaning, lol. And I couldn’t jump around and break shit to it now, it’s almost 2 years old, it’s still good, but i’m past that stage, trust me, I almost plowed thru a mailbox the first time I heard “say hello”
