In this way, he draws some of his influence from Wu-Tang Clan producer RZA, who has utilized sped-up soul samples in several of the group’s beats. Smith has used this technique with songs like “December 4th” from Jay-Z’s The Black Album (which uses a sped-up sample of “That’s How Long” by The Chi-Lites)

LMAO Kingdom come sold like 600,000 the first week cause niggas thought it was gonna be epic…It was basically the same as jordan coming back as 45…
Now the real answer is how much did he sell the following week? he only sold 100 thousand the next week….he had a large drop off…and even mainstream fans wasn’t feeling it THAT much. it was aight for a hov album and yes people hold him to higher standards.
Now if you saying this is a recoup album then I can understand the pop singles…but Hov AINT gonna recoup that 5 mil even if he was still under def jam. So I guess you’re justifying the pop hits for the 5 mil recoup…
thing is hov made no allusion to that…Most people believe it was gonna be a recreation of blueprint and some of blueprint 2…but this is shaping up like KC2..
