i think mp3 leaks have destroyed the album experience for me. i can’t even really judge albums anymore, just single tracks.

by the time i hear the whole album i already know half the songs so it usually sounds more like a mixtape or a itunes playlist to me than a integral piece of work. also, i rarely listen to a whole album back to back anymore (thank you ipod shuffle).

i might throw the ipod in the basura and dust off my old discman.

Jay’s downfall over the years is listening to critics too much. KC he’s grown up, mature…cool. Not well excepted by most, he reverts back to hustle raps on AG taking steps backwards. The movie was his excuse to. Now we have a Jay thats just following trends going with who or whatever is hot right now. The ending result is tracks like “Off That” and most likely more like it.

who else thought “funny people” was way too long? thought that shit was gunna end like 5 different times. and the stand-ups during the movie were downright awful. movie was decent tho.

The last 30 minutes of the film was unnecessary, they should’ve wrapped that up(no BET PSA) in 5 minutes(no Uncle Ben’s Minute Rice)
