^I’m not a Hove hater, I just don’t like his recent musical efforts. Some artists do eventually fall off. I don’t know why this is hard to comprehend. I haven’t paid money for a Camel purchase since the Black Album.

BP3 might be a frisbee. Let me hear some leaked tracks. All them bubby ass features on there are DEFINITELY not convincing me otherwise.

^And that’s exactly the beef I had with it. Niggas fell for the okie doke. He made a track to shit on everyone else’s grind because he wasn’t gettin’ any attention. Then he pulled a ho move by “excusing” Wayne and Yeezy for using because those are his babies. Especially after Kanye received success from it (and 808′s is dope IMO, even though I hated on it before I heard it).

There’s actually some great auto-tune songs out there… some bad ones too… but some great ones. Instead of making DOA, he should’ve just did something totally different to make people open their eyes, i.e. a new instrument, sound, etc. I don’t like when he did that.

And some of the local artists from his own city was gettin’ CRAZY spins on the air in his own town and he wasn’t, i.e. Webstar (and for the record, that Dancing On Me track is lava, for those who party/club it up).

IF you want featureless tracks just go back and listen to History, Jockin’ Jay-Z, Brooklyn We Go Hard, etc.. All of which could have been on this album. He’s BEEN dropping hot shit. This album clearly holds the message of passing the torch as he bows out. G.O.A.T.

The Blueprint was an album you knew every single line to, because you could play it over and over again (to this day still). Judging this book by it’s cover (and tracklist), I will just be a casual Jay-z listener from now on. No longer god-mc to me. Maybe I’ll be wrong when it drops, but if “DOA” and “Run This Town” are any indication, this may just be as disappointing as Vol 3. Not saying it will be bad, just not a classic.

I love that he brought on Alicia Keys finally, but at the same time put on J. Cole, Drake and Kid Cudi. With those 3 its gonna be some futuristic trend-setting shit which we desparately need right now. It reminds me of the Blueprint 2 with all the features, so hopefully theres more quality than quantity the 2nd (3rd-Blueprint 3) around.

If this was Jay-Z LAST ever album. I like the fact that he featuring a lotta new rappers that are starting to have a buzz. I didn’t know shit about J.Cole until now. Im sure a lotta people will be in the same situation.

Jay cosigning these guys is a good look for them. I appreciate the symbolic element to it. Like he passing the baton…. Or at least i hope thats what it is

When biggie and pac was alive jay-z just came out with his fist album. after vol 3 come out people started see how nasty he was. and by the way, kingdom come was a hell of a record….ive started listening to it again…3/4 of those songs are range from bangin to listenable but none are bad. jay-z still does it as good if not better than just about everyone in the game. blueprint 3 should be a classic. im surprised weezy isn’t on there tho. and i would have liked to see akon for a hook or somethin. like on the jeezy track…..
