Hustler’s P.O.M.E.(?) is a great album soley due to Max B. & Stack’s contributions.
NOE verses when he spits em > NOE verses when Jimmy butchers them
I’ve been giving Prey IV Reign alotta burn recently. It woulda been better if NOE did all the rapping.

I don’t even listen to these guys at all, but the beat is nice. Actually that new Dj Honda album has some knockin’ production on it.

It’s the truth. Quietly, them Mid-West/Southern cats don’t wanna see a NYC rapper on top of the game. They’d rather support fake niggas like Rick Ross.
***I think a lot of them still have residual hurt feelings, about when their areas were locked out of the game by NY….real talk…

Banks would have a buzz if he wasn’t on G-Unit. He’s not signed to any label so no one gives a fuck. At least Yayo still has a deal, Banks is in limbo till Fif either re-ups with Interscope (which you know he will) or sets up a Koch-like situation. Hot Rod & Spider Loc could’ve been released albums on Koch/E1.
Not that anyone woul’ve given a shit.

I can’t listen to or respect NOE even though I’ve tried. As a Bmore native I find it clownish that 1.) nobody from round the way has ever heard of you, and 2.) he got his start as a Secario/Angelos/Billy Bathgate type ninja. I just can’t.

but amp. you sayin outside the tri-state like some of y’all don’t hate on NYC rap. up here, w/the niccas i rotate w/(no), dudes stay listening to NYC rappers. most of them goden era, some of them new artist. but if it’s out NY and its an internet sensation outta NY it doesn’t reach them cause most these dudes stay in the streets. y’all need a movement that the streets co-sign in this day and age to get y’all title back. and not to say that the internet buzz isn’t good, but most of that bamma rap be hood loved/respected artist. y’all need a earnest street phenom quick.

this can’t be true, lol…
August 14, 2009. MediaTakeOut.com just learned that Kanye West has agreed to go on tour this fall with pop singer Lady Gaga. And the tour is unofficially being labeled the Gay Tour.
Why a ‘gay tour’, you ask? Well according to Out magazine, Lady Gaga insists on having a gay-centric tour – and Kanye agrees.
In fact, before agreeing to tour with Kanye this fall, Lady Gaga told the rapper:
“My music is gay. My show is gay. And I love that it’s gay. And I love my gay fans and they’re all going to be coming to our show. And it’s going to remain gay.’
Kanye’s response to Lady Gaga was … YIPPEE!! (Just playing – Ye has made no “official” statement)

He’ll never get his props because A) he forgot how to do a proper mixtape B) he won’t step out of 50s shadow

He’s better then all three of them niggas put together. Lyrically, dude has vision. He even reminds me of Hov on how deep he goes in lyrically in terms of relating street shit in rhyme. Sadly, he lacks the image or the machine to pop off as a solo artist. i ain’t mad at him for writing Jim’s entire album. Get that money nigga.

This is the truth.
Too bad most street cats on the East Coast are conditioned into thinking Southern rap is better then what’s coming out from our own artists and most NY street rappers feel they have to dumb their shit down to appeal to the bammas.

Dude’s been lacing Jimmy for a year or two so anything remotely fly you’ve heard outta Jim’s mouth, blame it on NOE. He wrote that entire Prey IV Reign joint and even though it failed to live up to expectations, lyrically, Jim has never sounded better.

therein lies the problem. most ny rappers feel they so ‘coporate hip-hop savvy’ that they dilute the real and inject the weak composite.
conditioning and conforming. smh.

Jim woulda never allowd Max to blow. Stacks woulda been the golden boy of ByrdGang. Max was the hookman & Jimmy’s ghostrider.
“Drop That Top” was Max’s 1st ByrdGang records single. He was ready but got no push.
Apparently, he wasn’t getting any money either. If Jim woulda kept him right, Max wouldn’t have needed to rob anyone.
I take that back, Max is a street nigga. He woulda took that opportunity to make that extra bread whether he had money or not.
Harlem niggas be getting it by any means.
