Just saw the estatic tour curious if any nahgers have seen that mockery that is mos def? I was real disapponted, I expected alot of old school mos but he did alot of his new shit, he sat behind the drums and spit alot of that album… Album is good but I expect to hear some blackstarr, he did one track from that but that’s it…highly disappointing… i saw Talib and that show was sick! You honestly wanna know what the best part was with both shows? Jay electronica, on some real shit that dude is amazing I’ll take full Stan responsibility the dude was the highlight twice and the first show nas was the headline and jay made more of impact than anyone else, I had a conversation with the dude and he’s cool as fuck, the best part of any show where that dude is involved is every song he does he cuts the beat and goes accapella and straight kills it…and like I said dude respects his fans I asked about the just blaze album and Nepal and he respected the fact i knew about that shit! Cool dude and def the future illest mc u know!!! dude is amazing

Eviction Notice
Cosign. I just peeped a Mos show at 9:30 Club in DC last Sunday (on the 9th). I haven’t heard the Estatic album but I ready heard a few tracks he performed at Rams Head in Bmore. They were iight but I reserved my opinion until I hear the album. I was also disappointed he didn’t do some of the classics (including Ms. Fat Booty). Then he had the nerve to complain to the audience to stop yelling at him whilst he was on stage. On some prima donna shit. I’m like, nigga, this ain’t a opera. GTFOH. But he’s god in the flesh to a lot of these nerds so I left it alone. But I’m glad you brought it up so that I didn’t look like a so-called “hater”, an abused dick rider term when referring to entertainers.
And to my surprise Jay Elec stole the show. I never really cheked fir his music prior to the show but he murked it. And even got a chance to chop it up with him after the show on some regular shit. Madd humble. He made a fan outta me.

^Quiet as kept, he was about to be the leading star out of the whole Desert Storm team. Joe was benched by Jay. Fab is redundant with no charisma (unlike his papa Ma$e). Ransom is one-sided. Paul Cain maintains his piff carrying duties. The other nigga in A Team… uh, yeah. All that was left was Stacks. And according to Max on Letter To Stacks he was gonna be another ghost for Jim.

^Stacks had more fans than people give him credit for. Not an overwhelming amount, but he toured with Jim and Byrd Gang during their run to build up his name. Being that most of us don’t go to those shows (myself included), it’s crazy to see how fans react when you are rolling with a team that’s winning and then eventually make a name for yourself (c) Peedi Crakk.
