This isnt true, not everybody does. Alotta people just genuinely love what they are doing
Some just want acclaim for being dope without fame, and shy away from the spotlight…only person to succeed doin that is DOOM tho…and he had to wear a mask to do it
^That defeats the purpose. An entertainer’s job is to reach as many people as possible. There are some who fall short of their goals and become content with where they land. What happens if he/she feels that they are becoming too popular? Run away? Have a breakdown? Show me an artist who will reject endless fanfare and I’ll show you one who hasn’t reached that level of success (albeit we’re using fame as the measurement in this example).
