Budden was streaming live from Rock The Bells backstage in LA when Rae & five of his people walked in (one with a camera for IceWaterTV.) The stream was disconnected and then someone (not Rae) punched Budden in the eye.

what was with frequency leavin to get security though? 6 on 3 is way better odds than 6 on 2. if someone was leaving, they all should have left together. that was faulty.

If you didn’t go to Rock the Bells when it came through your town…you lost. I was skeptical of the whole set up, I usually don’t dig concerts with crowds that big [ll]…but the one here in LA was ran real well *daps all the organizers*
I read a funny statement about Slaughterhouse ran the shit…they were on at the same time as Busta so I didn’t go check them out. I do know the Paid Dues stage was about 1/6 the size of the main stage, and at that point of the night had about 1/6 the size of a crowd watching. Oh, and Busta brought Rae out to do CREAM and blew the roof off the place. So when people talk about “relevance”, they need to just ease up off the Stan Adams brew.

Why is hip hop the only genre of music that has artists that can’t co-exist. There’s a bunch of bands and alternative artists that have huge fan bases with no competition but hip hop artists are fighting for 1 imaginary top slot. How sad. It’s almost like we feel we don’t deserve that stardom so we have to fight for the one so called slot given to our culture. That’s some slave mentality syndrome we are stuck in. Shit like this kills hip hop more than it helps. Shows are the only way us artists really eat and now we have the elders destroying that avenue. I love wu but that was not what a “God” is suppose to do. Ego tripping leads to everyones downfall…. ultimately. God bless the hip hop culture.

Reakwon came in the room with six dudes one of the dudes felt he had to hit joe for whateva reason. If it was really 6-1 or 6-3 one guy left.. one guy stayed wit joe why didnt the other five dudes jump in or start jumping joe right from the gate. In reality one guy decided to hit joe a couple of other people just happen to be in the room that dint touch joe or jumped in so in my opinion it wasnt six or five to one. I think that Joe handled it well. I mean – there’s a few ways Joe could have handled it, but at the end of the day it’s just a punch. Rae came in with five dudes, which I can understand. It wouldn’t have been an honest conversation if Rae would have walked in on four or five dudes by himself, but Rae felt he had to confront the situation. So…whadayagonnado?! No one’s in the hospital. No one’s dead. Joe didn’t turn bitch or anything. It’s a punch. No big deal.
