Video: Rock The Bells in Vancouver, BC
Meant to throw this up yesterday. Above is video of Nas & Damian Marley rocking out together. After the jump you can find them performing their own sets. Apparently they rocked for 90 minutes, back and forth. Props to DP
Hit the jump for each of these gentlemen’s solo sets, as well as Talib Kweli and Common’s solo performances.

come on now d_block, theres countless people making better music than hov right now and you know this, how many rappers would you rather listen to if you had to pick either them or hov ….
^
I’m not disagreeing with you, i would rather listen to few rappers right now instead of Hov but that doesn’t change the fact that he is the GOAT and has 2 dope singles out…
Can’t i just like the 2 singles and not catch any flack for it? Sheesh….
… naw you can’t like a song as terrible as run this town and expect to not catch flack for it, sorry but its whatever your good …

.. who the fuck wants to pump there own gas, like sitting in your car and having someone pump your gas and paying them is somehow more of a pain
^the lines in Jersey for gas are longer then anywhere I’ve ever seen in my life…mostly on the turnpike and such but still…
… sure on the turnpike, but what do you expect, your a fool if you don’t get gas before or after you get on the turnpike, I don’t ever wait in line for gas in Jersey and I would still rather wait in line in my car than get out of my car and wait in line with people buying snacks/drinks/cigs and what not just to pay to pump my own gas ….

that ENTIRE argument sounds idiotic. So because Jay has a good business accumen then hes a corporate camel?! Smarten the fuck up. You sound like a Nas stan who loses arguments in real life so you test your theories on the net. This nigga brings all his people up with him, cuts dead weight like Dame and you still crying cause hes not hood enough for you and his wife is gorgeous, while your wet dream gets shitted on in an LA courtroom for his monthly earnings .AND he helped Ghost put together one of the better albums of his career while he was pres at def jam

… I wouldn’t say your a fool, living in Jersey or Manhattan is about preference, I don’t like living in the city, there is too much going on I could never think or get work done if I lived in the city, living in North Jersey I got the city 30 minutes from me, the shore an hour away and A.C. about an hour and a half, plus I got a 4 bedroom house with a yard and space between my neighbors so I can not worry about them and have them not worry about me, that peace of mind is priceless …

haha damn how you know Freehold? Anyway, Manhatten and FL are probably the only two places I would live besides NJ. I couldnt move to Manhatten unless I was making DUMB money..like money isnt an issue at all money..only becuase I couldnt throw all that money at living expenses..
SMH at my dude makin 100k livin in Manhatten, and me makin 70k and havin equal spending money..shits gotta be hard to swallow (none)

1 – nothing to do with good business acumen, its just that money is everything to him thats all, which is fair enough but it makes for boring music.
2 – Im not a massive Nas stan but hes realer than Jay, not in terms of the hood but in terms of hes not afraid to fail.
3 – When did i say that hes not hood enough? i said hes not hip-hop enough because for him money comes above the artform, people like you be obsessed with the hood.
4 – Nas aint my wet dream, seriously B and look at how happy you are that his wife fucked him over, and Beyonce is nice yeh of course
5 – Jay Z wont ever take credit for Fishscale fuck that? why cos he was CEO at the time, now i am a serious Ghost stan so fuck that thought, where was Jay when Tony made SC???

Yo this set was fuckin crazy even though nas was a bit drunk and fucked up his lines a bit. Damion Marley went off that night!!!!! And Tech N9ne stole the show in my mind
