Slaughterhouse feat. Fatman Scoop - Onslaught 2
Here’s one last one off the album. It’s the sequel to the group’s second song ever.
Slaughterhouse feat. Fatman Scoop - Onslaught 2 (Produced by Emile)
The date is still August 11th (next Tuesday) but the Deluxe Version of the album (with bonus tracks) just went on sale on iTunes. Make sure to support the guys and cop it and help get them on the charts before the release date. Click below to purchase.
Of course, they won’t upload it (or charge for that matter) until the date. If you cop it in the first week too it’ll cost you 10 bucks flat.

nah, it just takes me a lil longer to listen to whole albums that I wasn’t hyped for, word to J. Cole, I gave dude a listen off the strength of ya’ll and his first 7 songs caught me, I almost called his cd a classic with just a breeze thru of his whole album, but after listening to his whole shit I seen that dude makes the same songs over & over.
On the same note, I didn’t really dig max b until I listen to his whole MDB2 mixtape, it only gets better after a few listens. PD3 included

Dope song but just isn’t a personal favorite of mine. I love the whole album, although i want a back story as to why they recycled the beat to Padded Room’ intro….there’s something about using the same beat that annoys me, and they hook is a bit cliche..

August 4th, 2009 at 10:45 pm
DTR is the best major release…
but if they had to go head to head (nh), i really couldn’t say…
DTR has incredible structured songs with great hooks and SH has great songs but they are mostly fueled by incredible lyricism. While the hooks on SH are good, they are as sound structurally as DTR. When making an album that’s pivotal. Plus, DTR had hit records. They are 2 different beats that aren’t fair to compare…

as a matter of fact I do. I happen to listen to rappers who make sense and don’t just string words together with a good flow and call it crack.
Em wasn’t saying shit
if he was actually on that song, following their concept, he would have killed it. but that freestyle was laughable
August 4th, 2009 at 11:31 pm
He just blacked the fuck out on that beat, nobody matched his flow on that, the pronunciation of the multi syllabic words were disgusting, the rhyme scheme was something that none of your (or my) favorite rappers could do, and the imagery was crazy.
August 4th, 2009 at 11:32 pm
I’m checking the exposure
of photos of me exposing,
Myself locked inside of a cozy hotel posing
With or without clothing
Next to the decomposing
Bodies eroding, while I’m dosing off
Overdosing
Windows opening shutting
Doors opening closing
I think there’s a ghost
Too much hydrocodone and codeine
I was only supposed to swallow half
I took the whole thing
I’m not joking
I think I just snorted my nose ring
August 4th, 2009 at 11:33 pm
shit ain’t deep, but it’s fucking ill, especially on that eerie beat
August 4th, 2009 at 11:36 pm
shit is light dog, Em did his thing but that verse was not that crazy.
Budden’s verse made a statement. Royce and Crooked had better flows than Em.
I (used to) love Em’s music but dudes be acting like he’s completely untouchable when it comes to rap when’s there’s aspects of rapping he hasn’t come near in his entire career.
August 4th, 2009 at 11:38 pm
slaughterhouse > your favorite album this year. potential to break it so far is up to rae, jay, fash, sai, and possibly royce’s street hop.
August 4th, 2009 at 11:53 pm
that shit isn’t crazy? and that’s 1/4th of the whole shit. I feel you on the whole last paragraph, but shit was just a random freestyle, one of three that he kicked. That shit was on buddens album, concept outlined already and all that, Em just kicked some random, incredibly intricate shit. Maybe if it was over the cuckoo beat it would have made more sense, because they were all trying to do what he did on that freestyle.
Sure most of the time Eminem does some shit I scratch my head over, but @ end of the day eminem can flip a bunch of different styles and that rhyme scheme and imagery mixed w/ punchlines is something that I can’t see anyone pulling off besides him.

sad truth.
they should stay lyrical and be honest about what they’re strengths are. instead they tried to structure it like the next guy’s mainstream rap LP. that’s where they lost me. why so many bullshit hooks and r&b singers on an album like this??
August 5th, 2009 at 9:40 am
@ all of you,
You’re all a bunch of fucking retards, maybe you guys didn’t get the lyrical connections made in the album. Crooked I and Joell Ortiz fuck all, maybe you guys missed that part. Joe Budden….lolz at that fucking nub. That nigga got left way behind on Sound Off. Royce is always nice. Seriously, Relapse is better than Slaughterhouse? Maybe if I liked Eminem sounding like a Muslim being castrated I’d like that. Anyways, all of you who complain about this album should probably go outside and have a gasoline war with each other.
