Gotta give Jabari a hat tip for this one. Great idea homie, some of these artists out here need it desperately.
Says him:
I love doing these posts and I hope we are helping all artists out there become better. I want to share advice not just from me but artists who are in the game and at various stages in their careers. First up is J. Cole. The young MC has a very promising future and he gives his insight on what all artists should remember. If you enjoyed this clip send J. Cole a thanks. Share your own artist advice on Twitter using the #ArtistAdvice hashtag.
In this clip, J.Cole speaks on building an online presence and remaining humble.

This dude never ceases to amaze me with his creativity.
Recently the Mochilla crew (http://mochilla.com/) came thru Exile’s home studio w/ VTech’s WiFi internet radio where one can have access to over 11,000 free internet radio stations worldwide. On the fly, Exile sampled sounds from their WiFi internet radio and made a beat, similar to how Exile constructed his recent release, “Radio” via Plug Research.
So yeah, this clip, while cool, is also effectively an ad for VTech’s new Wi-Fi internet radio. I have to admit though, that thing does look pretty nifty.

On July 29th in New York, Kenzo Digital will be hosting an exhibit/listening/screening of his truly amazing “Beat Cinematic” City of God’s Son. In the above clip, a group of blind musicians speak about the one-of-a-kind audio project and why it appeals so uniquely to them.

“”Stand Alone Complex” contains 14 original tracks all produced by Jet, featuring many appearances by artists that comprise the makeup of the emerging New York City music scene. His intention was to create music that captures the minds of today’s new-New York scene, but also has the ability translate universally.
“A ‘Stand Alone Complex’ is an occurrence or mass hysteria for which nobody knows it’s true origin. I think it’s a testament to the careers of everyone on the project, including myself, because everyone here is quickly emerging and progressing. Nobody knows or understands why, but at the end of the day, we’re here, and not going anywhere.”
