Nas lost big time..
Having to pay 55k a month in child support…No child needs that amount of money to be raised…
You probably will see Kelis in a new benz or bmw, with her hair did and nails done, in the latest gucci or lv.
I think Nas is going to be the next broke/bankrupt rapper. Real talk.

Must suck to pay 40k a month in a recession..
Nas stays losing.. until that Hov x Nas album

Nas is always taking losses. (Takeover included as the whole song wasn’t made about him)

smh, I dun told this dude…
July 25th, 2009 at 10:31 pm
This Hov vs Nas would never end b’cos that is what re-humanized jigga to a lot of fans… he seemed too untouchable…
Lets talk about facts though, Nas keep rhyming about all this i’m a wise man type shit but has very questionable judgments. He dn’t practice what he preach.
Jay Z is the only rapper to fulfill damn near 95% of what he rap about it makes it surreal.. hence all the hate. he makes questionable decisions like not dropping the right singles and dismantling roc-a-fella but at the end of the day hiphop has needed jay z as much as he’s needed hiphop.
July 25th, 2009 at 10:32 pm
Kanye’s versatility is what makes him a contender for GOAT producer.
The same guy did Run This Town, S.L.U., Through the Wire, Stand Up, I.Z.Z.O., This Can’t Be Life, Lucifer, Get By, You Don’t Know My Name, the entirety of Be, and a ton of other stuff.
His evolution as a producer is astonishing.

they way tim westwood uses the radio jingles like the explosions and shit, is stupid but extremely hilarious at the same time.
plus i think it was a good interview, he confronted jay about kanye using auto tune and that kinda stumbled jay, he couldnt give a proper answer.

Does not what I’m talking about, your response is the same foolishness I get from people when their Pastors are caught in all kinds of moral malpractices ….. If you gonna talk about it then be about it.. kids learn more from their parents actions than what the parents say to them… I’m saying dude is almost corny to me.. And I listen to his music … as a man Jay >> Nasir

If you’re paying out 55K a month to baby moms, you need a little more than 450K albums sold, my man.
Untitled did 450K over how long? When Wayne can flip the “your whole album sold what I sold in my first week” line, it’s not a good state of affairs.
And Ross is, if you listen to the rest of Nah, a bamma, or, if you listen to me, not freakin’ Nas. He should be flopping. Nas should be selling more than 450K.

July 25th, 2009 at 11:17 pm
NAS is still supported over here…
And when it comes to being diverse in content I think Nas > Hov…
If you compared Coltrane and Miles Davis you wouldn’t discuss their marriages…
What both Nas and JIggah bring to the game is needed for hip hop- and if neither of them were still in the game… I don’t know who I’d be listening to…
Nas = Jay Z
Jay Z = Nas
I’m always gonna go with NaS like I go with Malcolm but appreciate both those brothers and stfu…
Sidebar: Niggas don’t like to think and NaS be over their heads like a bulimic on a seesaw… He raps about The Pale White Horse and why fried chicken is bad to eat… He ain’t selling more than 450K… Niggahs is bumping Lil Wayne while they go to Popeyes for breakfast and a true crossover audience is impossible for dude…

i think the Nas/Marley collab is gonna be fire tho
July 25th, 2009 at 11:26 pm
that album would of been extra fly if they would of collaborated with an african artist too – i would say rocky dawuni for ghana, but he sings reggae style so it would be pointless, but there are others.

Prophesizing on your CDs and tapes
Won’t break you a crumb of the little bit that he makes
And this is with whom you want to place your faith?

When the Twin Towers dropped, I was the first in line
Donating proceeds off every ticket sold
When I was out on the road, that’s how you judge Hov, no?
Ain’t I supposed to be absorbed myself?

Buy a dictionary. Or a clue.
Hov’s best lines the last couple of years (since AG) have been on the Go Hard remix (“I’m OnStar for newborn stars”), the “A Billi” “free” (“Shawn Carter, Sean Bell, what’s the difference, do tell?”) and “Brooklyn Go Hard” (“I jack, I rob, I sin”). He’s grown out of the hot lines.
But that doesn’t mean he’s less dope than Kanye, who, for my money, has been the best rapper outside of Slaughterhouse in 2009. It just means he’s different.
Real talk.

i dont care what Jay has to say, he’s irrelevant to me…i stopped listenin after Black Album cos it just wasnt interesting anymore…
“intriqute” lines and “double indouendos” aint enough anymore.
GUCCI!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
intricate line and double entendres aren’t enough? then you scream Gucci after that? Jay is still nasty. His verses weren’t that crazy on the single and he didn’t really murder DOA either. But trust, the streets are talking and that nigga is definitely hearing it. I say wait to hear the album. If the lyrics aren’t crazy then I will be surprised.
