Jay Z is the only rapper to fulfill damn near 95% of what he rap about it makes it surreal.. hence all the hate. he makes questionable decisions like not dropping the right singles and dismantling roc-a-fella but at the end of the day hiphop has needed jay z as much as he’s needed hiphop.

Kanye’s versatility is what makes him a contender for GOAT producer.

The same guy did Run This Town, S.L.U., Through the Wire, Stand Up, I.Z.Z.O., This Can’t Be Life, Lucifer, Get By, You Don’t Know My Name, the entirety of Be, and a ton of other stuff.

His evolution as a producer is astonishing.

Hov’s best lines the last couple of years (since AG) have been on the Go Hard remix (“I’m OnStar for newborn stars”), the “A Billi” “free” (“Shawn Carter, Sean Bell, what’s the difference, do tell?”) and “Brooklyn Go Hard” (“I jack, I rob, I sin”). He’s grown out of the hot lines.

But that doesn’t mean he’s less dope than Kanye, who, for my money, has been the best rapper outside of Slaughterhouse in 2009. It just means he’s different.
