Well not everyone slices, so I never thought it was necessary. Anyway, at first I thought it was a problem with my grip and wrist movement on my down swing that caused the consistent slice. But I was wrong. It turns out my downswing wasn’t following the same arc as my back swing and I was bringing my arms down too close to my body. Consequently I was hitting the inner side of the golf ball with the outer edge of the driver and causing the vicious curvature in the flight of the ball.
