Last Thursday, Three/21 headed down to ATL, Georgia to shoot the “5 Star Chick” music video for Polo Grounds/J Records recording artist Yo Gotti. It was a long but really smooth shoot considering the amount of setups we had to complete in the brutally hot conditions. Also, the homie Ricky Ross came through to show some support, lend a sweet cameo, and give us his thoughts on the “Deeper Than Rap” short film we launched a few months ago.

Yo Gotti. Gucci’s accent is bad, but alot of his speech problem is due to the constant nose clog he’s dealing with because of the (clearly) years of excessive concaine use.

Yo Gotti is also the king of the “scared to be shooting a video look”. Peep that shit he dropped a couple years ago that got some burn (with the Marvin Gaye sample). Dude looked SHOOK. Of what, we will never know.

Yo Gotti represents the older, seasoned hustler element of trap rap, so I mess with him. He knows his lane, whereas you have a dude like Shawty Lo, damn near in his 40′s looking to cats half his age for his next hit.
