    I know a lot of people hate him & his work, but he was really smart & people don’t realize that.

    I think the art world shuns him because he’s black. That’s why you never hear about black artists etc.

    Nah. I loved the message. I think he could have been more powerful in presenting it. I just think it wasn’t his best. I think he held back because he feared scrutiny from the conservative side of the media.

    He’s like the only black popular artist & people always try to discredit him. That’s part of why I appreciate Warhol so much because he saw talent in him. & helped him out even though he didn’t have to. He was famous enough.
