Police said 23-year-old Amanda Rodrigues was taken into custody after contradictions in her interrogation. Gatti’s body was found early Saturday in a hotel room at the Porto de Galinhas resort in northeastern Brazil.
The former junior welterweight champion was apparently strangled with the strap of a purse, which was found at the scene with blood stains, said Milena Saraiva, a spokeswoman for the Pernambuco state civil police. She told The Associated Press that the Canadian also had a head injury.
The investigation was not complete, but Saraiva said authorities were preparing to present a formal accusation against Rodrigues, who denied being involved in her husband’s death.

Royce used to be that nigga. I had a bootleg of his original album junior year of high school. He had a song (King of Kings I think?) where he was rapping from Jesus’ perspective. Disgusting. Joe was an actual contender for actual relevant NY rap star in ’03, but he just couldnt hack it in the majors. Joell and Crooked have always been uninteresting.

@ J Dollaz12 – yeah thats the problem with the parlays I always think just $25 or $50 bucks hit a 4 or 5 team parlay win anywhere from 400- a g depending on the lines, its so tempting to talk yourself into making that big bet, it doesn’t work out as much…. for football I make my money on parlays, props and teasers… parlays are much easier in football there is almost always a good 4 or 5 teams I feel very confident in winning, I also fuck with teasers, they don’t pay out great in fact they pay out terrible, but if you work it right its almost a given to win

@herbal – no doubt. that’s what i was thinkin w/ the football. there’s gotta be at least 4 games every sunday that are pretty much “for sure” things. that’s the thing w/ baseball, 162 games, they’re bound to have off days alot more than football teams. i did pretty well with the nba playoffs (that’s when i started betting regularly), so i think i’ll fair pretty well when the next nba season rolls around come november. i’m headed out to jamaica on tuesday, so i’m hit them resort slots up, hopefully win back what i’ve lost in baseball over the last few weeks.

I wrote “sky’s the limit” in about a hour, and niggies seem to like that shit, even R.J liked it, that kinda surprised me.

Nothing peeves me more about the music industry (especially in hiphop) is to see an artist with 3045408 niggas in his crew and none of them can tell you their purpose besides “we ridin’ with my manz, yeah mean!” Nah, fuck that. All this hard work I’m puttin’ in yall niggas gonna pitch in: help find me a studio, carpool to do meetings/promotions, make some flyers, make grilled cheese sandwiches… SOMETHIN’ MUHFUCKA. Just saw Slaughterhouse at Rock The Bells, not bad but haven’t got enough material to put together a nice live set. Tried to meet ‘em/get em to sign my (Slaughterhouse) shirt after the show and they totally blew me and a few others off. Im not sure what the logic behind underground artists lacking respect for their fans is.

Anyway, the point is, that is some of the most commercial shit I’ve seen in awhile. There’s nothing about that song that says Real Hip Hop…unless real hip hop is called rock and roll now. I just can’t see niggaz really riding around with the windows/top down bumping this shit and managing to look cool at the same time.
Joe and Joell’s verse was iLL though…the new Jada and Styles? Nah…but still nice.

The lyrics are pretty weak. Buddens and Joell shoulda let Royce and Crooked ghostwrite their verses.
As for the video, Rik Cordero failed. It’s supposed to be something of a rock video, and the most high energy moments at the end of the verses: “all I got inside me is rock n roll” and “it’s the life” show amateur rappers standing there lipsynching those lines flatfooted with extras off the street rocking back and forth doing an amateur two-step. Are you seriously sending this around as if it’s a professional rap video, rock video, pop video, ANY kind of video?
