^^
I’ve said it before on Nah, but Belly was the last great hip hop movie soundtrack in a decade stacked with them. Primo and D went in on the Devil’s Pie, and the song that was playing in the background of I’ll Be That when the chick flipped the bike is an epic R&B joint by a chick that was never heard from before or after that track.

I remember thinking NORE was soo ill. But even though Noreaga had some hits after Grimey etc. his album NORE was his mothafucking Pinacle. Cuz he dropped War Report the year before. I would say at one Point in 1998 NY was either NORE, Pun’s or DMX’s throne. Jay came with that redheaded bitch ANNIE and shut the game down

Kimbo has no work ethic… and he doesn’t have enough raw talent to cut it as a pro either.
I want Mir to win but Brock’ll probably win. I got Hendo and GSP in the other big fights.

@ fux just quietly work ur way up the corporate ladder till u hit senior VP status then quietly cop ur aston and quietly pull up to the sushi spots in LA where all the retired (i.e. age 35 and up) models go and quietly throw it in the bag then quietly break their backs “shhhhhhhh…we doing it the grown folk way.”

I swear, Gucci is the most consistently entertaining artist out there right now. For the amount of music he puts out, most of the shit is actually good.
“I wake up in the morning wit a blunt of purp
No pancakes, just a cup of syrup”
^^^^^^^^
True.
I know I’m late to the party on that late 90s shit but:
I remember the DMX vs. Canibus mixtape had people gassed think Canibus was about to be the best ever.
Half-a-mil’s verse on AZ’s ‘Love is Love’>>>>>
Nore was the shit when he came out. Imo he had started to slacken by the time his first solo album came out. War Report was incredible, he had mad mixtape joints, freestyles, guest spots, but by the time NORE came out dude was already sounded less inspired. It had joints but I remember hearing him on Stretch Armstrong wilding, before War Report. Nore got fat / stopped sounding hungry quick.
Also I agree that Nas put the smack down on Destroy & Rebuild. If Ether hadn’t been the main diss on Stillmatic there would’ve been a lot more attention on that joint.

Dont ask me, ask Jada.

Jada’s been bamboozled.
I’m sure he thought his 4X4 Jaguar Quad-Cab pick-up was authentic.
Means Of Conveyance FAIL.
