I’m not even joking. The nigga Chauncey (Loon) used to get much respect in my hood and he stayed with a bad bitch. I remember right after the Harlem World album came out, dude was right back in the hood, platinum dogtags and all. Niggas respected him and every bitch wanted to fuck with him. I always gave dude his props, cause quietly, he gave Betha his style.

That reporter was an ASSHOLE! Good for the Amir Muhadith (the artist FORMERLY known as Loon) for standing strong & not playing into the coonery. Not to say rap/hip hop IS coonery but it was very clear from the “reporter’s” facial expression & mannerisms that he was trying to play Amir… along with hip hop & our Eastern culture as a whole. This may seem unrelated to anyone who cares to read my comment but hopefully you’ll get the connection I’m trying to make or the picture I’m trying to paint: I remember back in my predominately white high school when I used to jump into freestyle ciphers [not anymore though... just yet] & people used to gather around & watch. These people (of all races) watched with admiration; even the school faculty members at time. Now there was a difference between rapping in front of people & being asked to rap by request from a smirking white person who (with their buddies by their side) apparently couldn’t contain their laughter. Very wack. So, again… EF that “reporter”!
