July 3rd, 2009 at 5:18 pm
He’ll have one concept song.
The rest will be simp joints.
“R&B’s Way” in stores, July 28th (no shots). And I’m a Fab fan.
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:19 pm

>>“R&B’s Way” in stores, July 28th (no shots). And I’m a Fab fan.
Stop hating.
The Fab/Freck/Paul Cain + Alchemist joints I heard at the session were good.
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:23 pm
I heard the “Salute” record with Wayne too.
That one sounds promising.
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:24 pm
This shit’s dope.
Hate all the way long, Loso’s Way’ll still be dope.
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:25 pm
I forgot about that, yeah I like Salute too.
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:27 pm
That shit was hard. BB Gun did a real nice job. Fire
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:28 pm
the song is sorta like a fake Roc Boys/American Gangster vibe. haven’t peeped the video yet
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:29 pm
I don’t really see the knocks against Fab as hating. Granted, dude is really good at putting words together and has a knack for dropping clever couplets, but that only carries you so far. I think the fans are looking for some growth, and a predictable lead single with the R&B sensation of the moment doesn’t really quantify as growth.
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:30 pm
is this a J.U.S.T.I.C.E League production?
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:30 pm

this. and Throw It In The Bag is actually pretty good, despite Fab

Some people can’t rock a white suit… I’m talking about you fab.
he should have matched it with a dap of red instead of a black bow-tie.
Looks like wedding attire
July 3rd, 2009 at 5:34 pm

So Michael comes on, and … he was like, “Yo, it’s Mike, and I’m a big fan of your music,” and starts going into my songs, “Hate it or Love It” and “How We Do.” And he’s like, “I’m a big fan of 50′s — every time I get in the car, I tell my driver to play ‘In Da Club.’ Would you guys be willing to make a truce, and then put it on my album?” Listen to Jackson’s biggest hits »
And then I was like, “Yo Mike, we gotta slow down, man!” This was at the height of me and 50′s little beef, or whatever people called it, but I talked to him for another 35 minutes on why I couldn’t do it at that time, and at that point in my career, and he was OK with that. He said one day if we decided to do it — myself and Curtis’ camp — we could reach out to him. We never got a chance to do it.
