The only thing that’s stopping me from calling it a classic is when ever Budden speaks of the album and how long it took to make, he sounds like they didn’t have enough time thus making it seem like it isn’t their best work. It kind of fucks it up for me though…

I’m not a fan of counting other’s money, but for the sake of discussion, I’d say, no, Game’s not broke. He was top 10 highest paid rapper a year or two ago. He does shows fairly consistently to my knowledge, and although he’s not getting many guest appearances now, if he’s smart and has smart businesses that are doing decent (which I think he does), he should still be somewhat rich. Not wealthy, but definetly rich.

@fams: good point, but that has nothing to do with my question. there’s waaaaaaay too many factors as to why blacks excel in sports/entertainment but bottom line, if you take that same way of “breeding” a “superior athlete” the same can be done academically. and it’s not to say that this means every friggin’ black person could be einstein clones or some shit. not every black person is good in sports, singing, dancing, etc. (i know i’m not lol). just look at how asians are stereotypically seen as being “superior” academically, blacks are stereotypically seen as being “superior” in sports/entertainment, whites are “stereotypically “superior” in screwing people over (i kid), etc. what if the asians were brought here the same way blacks were? had the biggest asians mate with the biggest (or whatever) women to “build” better slaves? what if after years of oppression and not being given the tools needed to compete academically (i had history books in the 80′s that didn’t go past the 50′s, real talk), the only way (it seems) you can strive in america is by selling drugs, entertaining people or throwing/catching a ball? it’s a whole lot deeper than just “it’s in our genes” (which is bullshit).
