I shouldn’t even say “hip-hop soul” because to use the word “soul” is to give them too much credit.
but to be fair, there have been some decent artists who came out in the last decade, so maybe saying 90% are wack is a little harsh.
I’ll say that 75% of R&B acts today are trash dookie.
