Show Intro

Applaud BMUSE‘s perseverance:

My fifth installment of “I Did It For Hip Hop” had me waking up from a nap on Sunday afternoon because I remembered that Phonte and his group The Foreign Exchange were doing a free instore @ Amoeba Records in Hollywood. I have filmed countless shows at that record store and with The Foreign Exchange’s new album “Leave It All behind” now out, I knew I could help them out with some promo shots and just enjoy a dope afternoon of music. I was not let down at all. Below you will find their entire mini set from that afternoon. It was a great show.

Video: Alchemist Interview w/ Nodfactor

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Al speaks to Nodfactor about his new album Chemical Warfare as well as his side projects with Oh No (Gangrene) and Evidence (Step Brothers.) Looking forward to all of them shits.

This has to be the funniest interview I’ve ever done with a producer. The Alchemist was in pretty good mood when I sat down to speak with him about his new album, Chemical Warfare.

The unofficial third member of Mobb Deep talks about why he went outside the box on this album, his group projects with Oh No and Evidence and lets us know how Prodigy is doing in the bing.

Video: DJ Neil Armstrong Interview w/ MTV Iggy

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Neil is Jay-Z’s tour DJ:

What does it take to perform with the biggest hip-hop star in the world? If you’re Jay-Z doing the Heart of the City tour with Mary J Blige, and then spanning the globe with Kanye, you demand the best. We hooked up with DJ Neil Armstrong, who was on the road with Hova as his tour DJ last year, and was onstage with the man at his legendary Glastonbury Festival and Obama Inauguration ball performances. He’s not a businessman — he’s a business, man!
