If you think this shit was hot (over this classic Wu-Tang beat that he disgraced) then you probably have no taste or just such a big fan that you don’t focus in on the quality of the song. You’re more overwhelmed with the good music he ‘Has’ put out vs. rating each song respectfully. The rhymes were average at best and his flow was worse. He sounded like he was forcing the rhyme out. Desperate to be honest. As if him talking more aggressive will make the flow and those rhymes sound better.
If your definition of good lyrics is just talking shit and bussin guns in ya rhyme then you have a poor IQ for creativity. There are numerous cats who spit about the streets and have WAAAYYYY more lyrical content and are very, very creative doing so. I never ever get visuals when I hear this 50 Cent rhyme. At least not consistently in a very long time. It’s just a bunch of words that rhyme on top of each other (like in kindergarten) with no direction of what he wants to talk about, no creative similes, metaphors or double meaning. Just a bunch of random words that rhyme.
I couldn’t quote one line in this song that I could repeat or like and I listened to the track trying to like it like 5 times!
I dig 50 to be honest (Though it might not seem so lol I’m just constantly disappointed) but hearing his “1, 2, 3… 1, 2, 3, 4… 1, 2, 3… 1, 2, 3, 4″ rhyme patterns over and over are starting to be more predictable than DMX (Not a knock on DMX because he was phenomenal lyrically when he was hot. Key word “was”). It’s all too un-entertaining. It makes it worse when he talks shit after every song or talks shit in every interview or talks shit when a camera is rolling. You would think with all the shit he talks that his rhymes would be untouchable or his songs would always be a 8 or a 9 or a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. Seldom or almost never does he release something worthy of a an “7″ and up (No pun intended).
I think if he did less talking shit and just made music maybe we could at least except his talents for what they are and not this over hyped mediocre rap that he releases over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over… Get the picture (rhetorical question)? I’m sure your wondering ‘where this is coming from?’ well he has been disappointing me since the “Massacre” album, so I’m fed up now. 50 “PUT UP OR SHUT UP”

And yes, I do hate Curtis. Just because he got lucky with Vitamin Water he thinks he’s a fucking genius and everyone should pay attention to him. NEWSFLASH; it was luck. Otherwise everyone else would’ve invested in VW as well. Nobody saw it coming.
