Cookin Soul feat. Tek, Stat Quo, Ali Vegas, Mic Geronimo, Big Pooh, Doo Wop, Icadon, Chirie Vegas & 40 Cal - Streets Is Gettin Hot (Remix)
I’ll let eskay tell it:
So late last year, the gentleman from Cookin Soul reached out to your boy about doing a mixtape/album/EP type of thing with all original beats and lyrics. The premise was simple: they would provide their legendary production expertise, and we would all reach out to artists we know and respect for bars. Sounds straightforward enough right? So what took so long? Well, honestly, most of the joints were done months ago, but the planets weren’t properly aligned, so we had to let it marinate.
But now, I am happy to present to you the first leak off Cookin Soul & Nah Right’s 1:00 A.M. And Rising. The title is obviously a play on the title of De La Soul’s classic debut, but that’s pretty much where the similarities end. Our project consists of 12 cuts, one to correspond with each hour on the clock. I guess you can say it’s a nod to the late night grind that has become the standard MO for so many of us midnight marauders. No subliminal shots.
The full project will drop sometime over the next two weeks or so, presented by the good folks at FLud Watches.

I noticed that I enjoy Mickey Factz rhymes more on other peoples tracks. He has a horrible ear for beats or something. He killed that B.o.B song & the one on the Curren$y tape.
I still don’t know what to think about him.

Mickey Factz is like Game minus the garbage ass rhymes.
And LOL @ the “Every Girl” song. Lil Wayne:
“Girl I got that dope dick
Now come here let me dope you
You gon’ be a dope fiend
Your friends should call you dopey”
Get off that sizzurp.

Mike Tyson has the same boxing style as Joe Frazier did, but Frazier was lefthanded … Ali would have frustrated Tyson into doing something real stupid … like Holyfield did … Lennox Lewis was an Ali style biter … and he obliterated Tyson … c’mon …
some of yall need more ESPN Classic …

you niggas need to turn off the radio once in a while … you are being programmed by bullshit … you can tell its true because niggas get so pussified and emotional when you dont believe in their favorite artists … some of yall are some nutgrabbing queers … if someone dont like who you like, why insult them, you dumb fucks? … people have different tastes … just like you can find people to cosign that bullshit, i can find just as many who think its garbage … dont try to force that bubblegum bullshit on me; my musical tastes are far too refined and sophisticated …

LMAO@the blatant hate. Ni**as kill me basing their opinion on dude’s latest mixtape, like he came from nowhere and hasn’t been grinding for years to get in this here game, the same game in which 50 Cent hasn’t done anything for (at least those last 2 sh*tsandwiches I refuse to consider albums).
Like one of the commenters above stated, go listen to Comeback Season or Room For Improvement. You don’t collab with cats like Nickelus F, Elzhi and Phonte to “get on”. Those are cats that respect the game and the artform, so that alone should tell you dude is a head at heart.

Also I’m in the Chi, and please believe most of the peeps that be riding around bumping that Drake [ll] have probably never heard of Nahright, 2dopeboyz, or the new music cartel. No shots at eskay and crew, as this site is dope, but not everybody’s plugged in to the online scene like that if you will, so to suggest that dude’s buzz is purely digital is assinine (sp?).

J.Cole has some bars, but I still feel the kid does not have enough to be a star. He should just be a ghost writer. All these kids wanna be rappers, but some of them need to stay behind the scenes & be writers, ghost writers, producers ect.
He wrecked Grown Simba, Get By, & Dead presidents, but not to the point were I’ll be checkin for him. Keep tryin J.Cole. (II)

Nah, B.
You made a lame, ill informed argument, n*gg*s addressed said argument, and you let the floodgates open with homoerotic innuendo.
Also, I’m not casketface or Bananas or FAMs, just b/c we agree that your Drake hate has to be rooted in something other than this mediocrity as an emcee you speak of, we’re the same person?
A Nah right conspiracy to defend Drake?
Fam I’m a grown man, I just honor n*gg*s that’re making quality music, and it just so happens Drake is and Curtis isn’t.
