Video: Big Boi Says Sir Lucious Leftfoot is Funk-Based
Outkast’s Big Boi sat down with iHipHop to discuss his upcoming album Sir Lucious Leftfoot Son Of Chico Dusty. The album consists of 16 brand new songs that are mostly funk-based. The album will have features from T.I., Too $hort, George Clinton, Andre 3000, Raekwon & Mary J Blige. Big Boi also lets us in on a classic story involving the tour bus, a groupie and her Army Sergeant father following closely behind them. He also informed us that his infamous stripper pole is no longer in use… and that he has upgraded to a full on cat walk - vital information to any true Big Boi fan. Check it out!

Wow, he’s seriously still pretending this is dropping? It’s one of the most high profile (in terms of Big Boi’s stature in the game) album delays in recent hiphop history and nobody cares. Even a little bit.

Speaking as an Outkast stan…this shit is gonna suck…hard (pause).
Only way to save this project is to put 3000 on every track & call it an Outkast album.

That single with Mary J. Blige was horrid. I don’t feel the slightest compulsion to download this when it leaks, let alone cop a physical copy.

I don’t know. With the right single & the right promo push, I can see this kid getting alotta mainstream love. He’s actually spitting some shit, which is a rairity on a mainstream level. Give him some time…J. Cole actually is what everyone thinks Wale is, a cat who’s actually saying something and has all the potential in the world to crossover.

Yeah…J.Cole can rap rap rap. But to me, I don’t really feel any emotion out of him [ll]. Nothing really moves me.

^ Word, he is still a young cat, in a couple of years if he is still around he will probably be a much evoled MC, not everyone can be a NaS first time out
