   finally got THE ECSTATIC from amazon – first CD i paid for since The Cool

   first off the cover art is crazy

   second he has a message to the fans inside that is very touching [||] – no lie, the shit is inspirational

   anyway all i can say is that even though i’ve heard this album 100 times now, hearing it on a CD i paid for is even that much more dope – i might do this more often now

    i.e. does the compressed format of an MP3 lose a little sound quality?

    i think so but was hoping one of the techies among us could confirm

    the little added texture in the madlib beats on CD version of the ecstatic sounds amazing imo

    mp3 are pretty poor quality as far as sound…. a lot od the mix gets lost in mp3, which is why pound for pound [ll] it’s always best to listen to actual vinyl if you’re listening to really hear a record.
