Wu-Tang – Chamber Music (Vol. 1) Track List
This project is so crazy, I don’t even know what to think right now:
WU-TANG CHAMBER MUSIC is a brand new project from the Wu-Tang (Executive Producer: RZA), which pairs original Clan MCs with other 90s-era New York rap veterans.
The album will be in-stores June 30th 2009. It features: Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, RZA, Inspectah Deck and U-God, along-side classic hip hop artists such as AZ, Cormega, Havoc (Mobb Deep), Kool G Rap, M.O.P, Masta Ace, Sadat X (Brand Nubian) and Sean Price (Heltah Skeltah/Boot Camp Clik).
CHAMBER MUSIC’s throw-back sound is inspired by classic soul and kung fu imagery. It features a combination of new beats and live instrumentation by Brooklyn soul band The Revelations (all supervised by RZA).
Hit the jump for the full track list w/ features.

land, i don’t think ur being fair, G. “superstar” alone was one of the most moving songs i have ever heard and both T.I. and jeezy called lupe and ASKED if they could hop on a remix – no label royalty check publishing fuckery – just two of the illest cats in the game asking to rip a beat that they deeply respected. and don’t pretend that “go go gadget flow” didn’t fuck up the twisting game like biggie’s joint with bone thugs. and “hip hop saved my life” — what? that shit wasn’t another instant classic? that shit put nikki jean on the map and got crazy respect in the south. that shit was storytelling on a slick rick level – and i’m a huge fan of the ruler. not all of the tracks was classics but enough of them were to make that album a serious banger. c’mon G let’s be serious – the Cool was dope as fuck.

I loved F&L. between the leak & the retail I think it’s my favorite album ever, but I have to mix those two in order for it to seem complete. Just might be okay, pressure, & Real are somewhat mediocre IMO. they seem out of place. I would much rather hear Spaz out, Hustler’s song, & especially Theme Music to a drive by.
June 15th, 2009 at 12:05 pm
Shit looks like a RZA EP mixed with whatever leftover Clan tracks he had in his crib.

Land,
In all seriousness, what did you dislike about The Cool?
If I ask eskay, he’ll spit in my mouth or something.
I liked that LP, but it seems a lot of people didn’t & i’m wondering why.
no shots whatsoever.
.. hip-hop saved my life was and still is my shit, go go gadget flow had tremendous wordplay, but the hook was terrible and lacks replay value after a couple of spins, superstar was a good single but nothing crazy, dumb it down was an ill concept and impressive song but again lacks replay value, I agree with land and others most of the rest was filler music, I still bump F&L on the regular, but I have had no desire to listen to The Cool since 2 or 3 days after it leaked, hip-hop saved my life is the only joint I would play myself again …

nah homie when i went to the signing i dropped $9.99 for each of my 5 copies at best buy and then when i showed up at the signing at a mom & pop shop, they didn’t make me drop 20 bucks on one of their copies because they could tell i was a superfan (c) two-times rocking a g-unit bandana on his neck in a menacing fashion
so i’m not gonna make you give me 10 bucks, i just hope he does a signing at a small shop because i’m not trying to stand on line for 5 hours at virgin music downtown or no dumb shit

It’s crazy that you feel that way about the album because I completely disagree. The Cool still gets play with me. I respect your opinion though.
