To me, it was on some Thriller/Blueprint shit. An artist at their peak making songs that are masterful at their specific genre yet are also undeniably pop. No grand statements or unfunny skits, just bangers.
And Flashing Lights is the best song Kanye has ever made. Seriously.

I can say that going to the Glow In The Dark tour made me appreciate Graduation. some of the songs I skipped were his best performance songs……he fucked Can’t Tell Me Nothin up with those taiko and timpani drums tho, song was corny live.

no way was blueprint anywhere nearrr as pop as some of the records on graduation. i dont know man graduation was just not my cup of tea (none) that shit was kind of depressing to listen to and the quasi homosexual ode to jay at the end kind of just put it over the top
