Relapse sucks. Any way you slice it. It’s not engaging lyrically or production-wise. Em’s on his Slim Shady drug shit, just minus the humor and creativity. And Dre (or his ghost producers) sound asleep at the boards.

Ghost deserves his spot before Pun.

this wayne reminds me of 05/06 wayne, just with some autotune.
Carter II is still his best album and a classic.
—————————————————————
lol a classic? thats a joke. People throw classic out too much, just because an album is good it isn’t automatically a classic. There aren’t that many classics, and to put Carter II in an elite album category is blasphemy.
Carter II comparing to:
Illmatic
Reasonable Doubt
The Infamous
Life After Death
Ready To Die
OB4CL
The Chronic
Midnight Marauders
Blueprint
College Dropout
BE
Enter The Wu: 36 Chambers
Doggystyle
Me Against The World
The Fix
Low End Theory
It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
Eminem Show
Paid In Full
And theres probably about 20 to 30 more. Carter II, a DECENT at best album has no business in that category.
Carter>>>Carter II, And The Carter is an average album.

Snoop has turned out to be more consistent. His last couple LP’s, while not groundbreaking, are dope and very listenable. But he’s never reached the peaks of AmeriKKKa’s, Death Certificate, Kill at Will, or Predator. Not even Doggystyle.

^Word. Doggystyle is a personal favorite because I was an impressionable youth when it dropped and it shaped my ghetto mind.
Snoop’s impressive because of his ability to stay relevant, and reonvent himself within the framework of his already established persona.
I mean, even today he was still probably the nicest emcee on the autotuner…and he was on it before Ye, Wayne, etc.
