Ja had some bangers. If a dj had to get a party jumpin from Busta,Ja,or Em joints he would get the most chicks on the floor with Ja joints.I was in ATL when “Put it on Me” was out and them niggas used to go nuts when that shit came on.

The Ecstatic

Ja was just a product of Irv strongarming the execs, the Def Jam machine and maaaad payola. I refuse to believe he was ever that popular. And he came out at the exact time record sales were on steroids. There’s a reason you could go to a used record/cd store and find 1,000s of copies of his shit. And this was when he was “popular”. I remember when he first came out, he had maaad Hype directed videos getting played for his album cuts and nobody gave a fuck until he came out with the R&B bullshit.

*Turns up Ja Rule “where i’m from”*
Ja “Where i’m from” > Jay-Z “where i’m from”
*straight face*

THE ECSTATIC IS INSANE…
this is the follow up to Black on Both Sides I’ve been waiting for for about 10 years now…makes you wonder how the fuck he even released the last two albums without being ashamed of himself.
June 4th, 2009 at 11:44 am
R.U.L.E. was a decent album.
Only problem is, no one cares.

^His first album went double/triple I think
He wasn’t RnB till his second album. And def jam was against him going RnB, he forced it on them (pause). So def jam wasn’t masterminding nothing when his biggest single came out, all Ja & irv

^I’ve sworn off listening to kells, but I might back slide (pause) & listen to the rapist, it’s a gangster grillz, and the drama tagz might make that shit sound that much hotter, I was thinking bout downloading it
How is it? Is it more RnB or like rapping/singing kells?

Rule and Irv need to focus on finding new artists. That’s what fucked them up. With all the focus on Ja, Black Child & Tah never got any shine and when 50 got at them, Ja was by himself as far as the public was concerned.
The Gwop Boys are trash and as much as I fuck with Newz, he’s a supporting player, not a franchise star.
Irv shoulda signed Freeway lol.
June 4th, 2009 at 11:50 am
@ Rex – FUCK OFF!
The New Danger was classic in my eyes. It wasn’t a hip-hop album which is why people were pissed. It was more rock/soul/funk than anything and musically, it was out of this world.
True Magic was sick. Was disapointing but had some great song on there. Fake Bonanza was Thieves In The Night part 2. And the intro was lyrically loco, he just rapped it like he was asleep.
