Audio: Briana Latrise Interview w/ DDotOmen

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

We started dating and it kinda progressed. I ended up moving to NY, I moved in with him. I started working with him, marketing plans and stuff like that to show him what I was capable of doing. (1:00)

I was really trying not to hit him, I was trying so hard. He just had that cocky look I can’t stand. (3:18)

I’m still helping Charles with his career. That’s the craziest shit about our relationship, I decked him last night but we had breakfast this morning. (7:17)

I felt bad, I felt like the bitch. Like I was wrong for decking him. (7:37)

Alchemist – Chemical Warfare 2 Track List

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

As you may have noticed, Alchemist is Eminem’s tour DJ now. Well, Alc got Eminem on his next LP:

Following up on 2004’s critically acclaimed compilation 1st Infantry and last years Chemical Warfare EP, Alc’s new disc will feature a superstar guest list of MCs including Em, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Snoop Dogg, Pusha T, Juvenile and Twista, who appears on the lead single “Smile” with R&B singer Maxwell. Along with providing the gritty soundscape, the Beverly Hills bred beatsmith will also be spitting on the disc.

The Alchemist is currently on a promo tour with Em, serving as his DJ, where he has already performed at several stops in the UK and the U.S. including Em’s Relapse release party in Detroit earlier this week and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Alc also served as the Detroit rapper’s DJ in 2005 for the Anger Management 3 tour.

Dropping July 7th on E1. Hit the jump for the track list.

Video: GLC ft. Bump J – The Big Knot (Live)

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

Here’s some footage from GLC’s Flight School concert at the Wild Hare on Thursday night in Chicago. He performed two cuts off the upcoming album Love, Life & Loyalty, one that features the incarcerated Bump J and the other featuring Twista.

The great thing about GL’s performance, was that he performed a bunch of never-before-heard tracks from his upcoming debut, Love, Life & Loyalty, including “The Big Knot” featuring Bump J and “Cold as Ice” featuring Twista. Obviously, Bump was NOT there to perform with GL, but G was nice enough to let a portion of his verse play, which you can hear for the very first time on FSD. I know you’re going to be thirsty for that one. Hit the jump to see him perform “Cold As Ice” (sans Cavalier) and “So Real” (a snippet of which was featured on the I Ain’t Even on Yet mixtape).

Props to FSD, go there to read more. And yeah, hit the jump for more.
