Here’s the final video in the Dallas Penn x Asher Roth series. They finally meet and Asher answers “some of the internets most pressing question: Shit like 1) Hot roasted nuts, or 2) Fishsticks?”

Props to my brother Dallas Penn.
You may have noticed that Zune was one of the partners (remember that Roc Nation sighting) that was sponsoring Wale’s “Attention Deficit Tour”, well they started to document some of the tour and this is what come of it:
“On the Road with Wale” is a video podcast series chronicling the life and times of the artist known as WALE on tour, as he rocks shows across the country to promote his soon to be released debut album while trying not to go insane while cooped up on the bus. From show highlights, to interviews and guest appearances, to an epic X-Box battle with Young Chris, On The Road with Wale is a colorful montage of the rising star’s experiences while on his first major headlining tour.
Episode 1: An introduction to life on the road with Wale as he rocks shows and promotes his new and single Chillin’. Wale talks about some memorable shows on the tour, as well as some of the ups and downs experienced while performing.
There will be one webisode released each week for 10 weeks. You can download the entire podcast series weekly at zune.net/Wale.

Peter Rosenberg talks to Drake about lots–including the fact that Drake is Jewish and was in fact Bar Mitzvah’d. Kanye shows up for some vintage Kanye-Rosenberg awkwardness.
Man, me and Dre went through a hell of a saga last night at SOB’s to see this kid perform, but everything came together in the end. Pause.

Props to Maurice Garland for the cover.
UPDATE: The people at Creative Loafing gazed at our comments (lol) and saw that the people were mostly making fun of Gucci’s hair and skin so they decided to up a better resolution image (and quote a few choice comments). Frankly that probably won’t stop them.
Off his Most Wanted Baby Father tape, that he’s dropping with Mr. X.
The mixtape drops next Tuesday and is hosted by DJ Klapton.

“He’s just been working on it, and it’s gonna be amazing when he drops it. I think it’s good he’s taking his time to give people the best product possible and not being rushed by this fast-food, media-outlet, Internet, everything-is-getting-leaked, people-stealing your-songs-before-you-can-mix-them-and-put-them-online world we’re living in right now.”
Kanye revealed that he and Jay went back in and made some alterations to B3 since they first started.
“We actually removed all the songs with Auto-Tune off of his album,” West said, “to make the point that this is an anti-Auto-Tune album, even though I released an album that has all Auto-Tune!
“It doesn’t matter to me,” Kanye laughed about Jay not wanting to incorporate the sound that is featured so heavily on Kanye’s 808s & Heartbreak. “It’s music; it’s just sonics. I like Auto-Tune so I do it, but you want the other thing — like you’ll wear a suit to a wedding and gym shoes to a basketball game. I think it’s a perfect moment for Jay to provide some gym shoes to a basketball game right now.”
Shouts to Sha & Jayson, and everybody else that I met last night.

Irv Gotti had grand plans for Nas several years ago when he announced his fellow Queens native would be signing to Murder Inc. Records. Well, we all know Nas never came to the Inc., but I.G. says he’s remained tight friends with Esco and the two may even work together again. Gotti is still a fan of Nas’ music, but he prefers it when he keeps his raps simple.
“I like Nas,” Gotti said. “First of all, Nas is my brother — another one of my brothers. But I personally like Nas when he’s ignorant. Whenever Nas gets political or he starts thinking or he wants to change the world, it’s good, but I personally like it more when Nas is on his QB, ignorant n—a sh–. When he’s on [a] ‘Made You Look’ [vibe]. When he’s on his arrogant sh–. When Nas dumbs himself down, he’s nicer to me. I tell him that sh– all the time. … When he’s on some n—a sh–, he’s nicer.”
However, Irv is the last one to try and give the mic legend advice on his marital woes.
“I was with him yesterday,” Gotti explained. “Me and Nas is family … No, I didn’t even talk to him [about Kelis]. I gotta steer clear of that. That’s that man’s personal feelings. I’m there for him. If he wanna go out, party, chill — I’m a phone call away.”
After the jump, Datwon talks about stepping down as EIC of XXL and reveals his new EIC position at Russell Simmons’ GlobalGrind.com.
Just went there recently, I’m glad they cleaned out the clutter on the front page.
