you’re kidding me right? Wayne’s gonna be having real rock bands helping him carve out another chapter in his illustrious Music history.
so far this rock album has NOT dissapointed his true fans..i have yet to hear a track from relapse that i don’t enjoy listening to.
ofcourse weezy haters are gonna complain, whine, fuss, bitch..but is that news? (ex: weezy kissing birdman has absolutely nothing to do with it..but a hater like you [wether u deny you're a hater or not] will always bring this up; to prove absolutely no point)
but on other news..my favorite rapper stay killing it in the studio..wuts urs doing??
and i expect bp3 to be detox status and relapse to not sell as tribe expects n dreams.

A Rakim fan will never like Lil Wayne. Its like 60′s music lovers not liking music today or even in the 90′s.
Its basically a generation thing, to which rakim lovers have no basis for judging music today other than it doesn’t sound like their idol’s. Every argument or rant is out of pure emotion with little or no real substance.
Just like someone who was born in the 40′s probably think Rakim rapping is scratching a chalkboard and just noise and doesnt make sense and is not real music.

Rebirth- white people are gonna say its not real rock. And black people arent gonna like if its not rap rock ( jay-z 99 problems )
This perfect life- people wont get this album and its free. Charles hamilton gets no respect
Good Ass Job- kanye returns to regular rap and sells a milli like he did with graduation ( that shit is classic )
Slaughter house album- it will get underground love but no mainstream mega numbers
Detox- DELAY
BP3- This is going to be classic and sell well
Relapse 2- expect hella features and more sells

Actually Lil Wayne has been dropping heat at a higher level then anyone for the Past 5 years. Jay, Nas, 3k are nice but they represent the old guard and the older generation. Weezy and T.I. have been the best cats that have been putting out consistent good music. Maybe the music is not your cup of tea, but the people have spoken and Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive. The newer generation holds all the cards now and gets to judge, because it is strength in numbers so if you have a million people saying it then so be it. But the old guard hates it because the music doesnt sound like its own. But music always changes never the same.

I don’t care to hear anything by any of these new artists, I got hate in my blood.

I’m a jay-z fan but I want to see how this stage of his career goes. No rapper has ever been relevant after 37(LL). Jay will be the first rapper doing those shows in las vegas like celien deion and I’ll be in attendance.
Lebron is gonna make 50 trips to the free throw line next game. David stern won’t sit back and let the magics fuck up his finals rattings.

He’s practically changed the whole game with his style of rapping, and influenced a lot of up and comers, including kanye west. and all these older rappers trying to be relevant again.
Every rapper has been influenced by someone in their life. Jay bit off fu-shnickens, wayne bit off wayne, we’ll see in the next few years what rapper has bit off wayne. You can choose the word “bit” which an exaggerated meaning of influence, but everyone has been influenced by one person or another. Nas is a bitten off product of Rakim. Rakim is a bite off someone as well, as I’m sure he has influences.
May 25th, 2009 at 1:03 am
edit:
wayne bit off Jay-Z
May 25th, 2009 at 1:04 am
I don’t think wayne name should be in the same sentance as jay and nas. But it not fair to ask who he’s influenced because he’s not even 30 yet. At the same time he was part of one the most influential clique the hot boyz don’t laugh. I remember jeezy and t.I saying they use to want to be like those dudes. But I’m sure B.G has the most influence of all the hotboys and if u listen to old lil wayne records, he admits a BG thought him everything he know.

I think if wayne loose all the auto tunes and rock shit and takes his craft serious he could be up there with nas and jay. When I hear songs like dr.carter it proves how crafty dudes is, but then he’ll go and make some bullshit song babeling bout nothing.
