   People have deceived and lied to when they think passin’ classes in college have to do with “smarts”. Nope. It’s all about MEMORY. All of your exams and finals will pretty much be from the notes you take and the expensive ass books you copped. If you can vividly remember what you read and the notes you took, you’re pretty much gonna ace every test or do really well on it. I have great long-term memory as far as remembering things from back in the day. But my short-term memory, such as remembering shit I read from a chapter a day ago is awful.

   Hence, this is why I cheated my ass off in school. Not sayin’ I’m proud of it, but I’d be damn if I was gonna fail because of my wack ass short term memory.

   If grades was based primarily on class participation and short essays, I’da graduated Summa Cum Laude (nh) or some shit. Lol

    I always managed to ace essays, form an articulate argument and let rip… but anything that invloved actual time/repetition (maths accounting etc.) sives me the shits, not that its that real hard but damn if that shit isn’t tedious as fuck.

    Billz, start with Robert johnson, Lead belly aka Huddy Leadbetter, dude was a proper hard man, literally sang his way out a murder stertch (not snitchin) , JLHooker, Muddy Waters, Hendrix’s blues album….. good shit.
    I’m amazed that hip-hop dosn’t pay more homage to the form…. and the real dirty South
